For almost forty years Robert
Podolsky has been studying the world around himself – first, for
ten years, as a mathematical physicist / engineer / systems
analyst, then, for twenty five years, as a counselor offering
psychotherapy in private practice. In 1983 he became friends
with the late John David Garcia, the philosopher / scientist /
author who wrote Creative Transformation. Since
then he has dedicated himself to the extrapolation and
manifestation of many of the concepts that Garcia pioneered.
In 1993 Robert began writing
articles about his analysis of societal problems, their origins,
and possible remedies. This work culminated in a series of three
books entitled, Titania, the Bloodless Revolution.
The first of these, BORG WARS, defines the
nature and origins of humanity’s “Big Problem”. The second book,
MAKE IT SO!, describes the Titania concept in
detail, and explains its methodology. The third book,
Heart and Mind, is a compendium of technical analysis
and inspirational fiction and poetry directly related to the
first two books. TITANIA, as presented today, is the
culmination of the long-term effort involved in the creation of
this trilogy.
The diagram on the page that follows shows the
organizational structure of TITANIA. In it each octagon
initially represents an individual having specific
responsibilities. As the organization grows, each octagon will
come to represent a group of eight individuals known as a
Octologue.
An Octologue, a term coined by Podolsky,
is typically a group of four men and four women who are
specially trained in a communication process that facilitates
unanimous ethical decision-making and tends to
maximize the
creativity of all of the group’s members. The research that gave
rise to this methodology was performed by John David Garcia over
a period of about twenty-five years. Since then Podolsky has
extended the know-how, making it easier for beginners to learn
the technique. An Octologue may be organized to attain any
ethical goal, purpose, or outcome.
