At least, in my weary and jaded eyes, they seem to be. I fear that it is just plain too late. Please forgive my so very hopeless outlook. I wish it was not so. We create new institutions that are ethical, creative rather than destructive, non-hierarchic, and unanimous in their decisions. In doing these things we demonstrate that we have a system that is far better than any form of government. We withdraw our support from government knowing that it is unethical to nurture parasites. AND we effectively <strong>compete with government</strong> for the support of the public. As we take these steps, people the world over will come to see that we don't need government - nor do we need ANY hierarchic organizations, including educational systems, legal systems, and corporations. Nor do we need "democracy", which is just another tool to implement our subjugation - those able to manipulate the voters thereby controlling all political decisions. Good question, Come-and-Take-It. My dilemma is understanding how to nibble away at the base on which the Power Ethic politicians stand. If I don't pay taxes, they just print more money (thank you Mr. Thoreau), a solution collectivity would not improve. If I march on their halls of power they ignore me. If I elect others to replace them, they corrupt or marginalize the new members. If I editorialize or opine they eliminate my means of communication. So what are we to do?
